The customer called and stated that a car had driven into their sign causing considerable damage to the sign base which was made from spit face block. Technicians arrived on site and began to secure the monument sign to prevent further failure and mitigate safety risks. Techs then began picking up all blocks and loading them onto a trailer for off-site disposal. Once our quote was approved, techs arrived on site and began installing split faced block onto footing and filling cells with rebar and concrete as needed for stability. Once the block was installed and the sign was reattached to the block wall, techs used a block primer to prime block and seal then painted to match existing customer spec for the block. Technicians cleaned the work area and disposed of all debris at the proper offsite facility.
